Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between TJ Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kip Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes to the cage accompanied by Hailmary. TJ Maximus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus misses with a double jab.

Morgan closes the distance and clinches.
Maximus jumps guard but Morgan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

It looks like TJ Maximus has been cut.
Maximus jumps guard but Morgan stands there with Maximus around his waist. Maximus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Morgan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Maximus up against the cage.

Maximus is working an open guard so Morgan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maximus paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Maximus. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Morgan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maximus swats away the attempt to clinch by Morgan.

Morgan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Maximus fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Morgan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Maximus throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Morgan escapes and throws Maximus's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Maximus tries to bench press Morgan off him but Morgan keeps the position.

Morgan decides to stand back up. Morgan steps back and let's Maximus get back to his feet.
Maximus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Morgan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Morgan pulls Maximus in close to his closed guard and prevents Maximus from doing any damage or advancing position.

Morgan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Morgan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maximus defends it easily.

Morgan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Morgan wants to take a breather but Maximus is having none of it.
Morgan is taking a breather. Maximus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maximus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Morgan is working away from the top position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kip Morgan was stalling too much, according to the referee.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Morgan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Maximus clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
