Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luu Viulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyler Richards!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viulu throws a looping overhand right but Richards ducks down to avoid it.
Viulu dips to his left and cracks Richards with an uppercut!
Richards looks for a takedown but Viulu sprawls well.
Richards just misses with a punch to the body.

Richards drives through and clinches with Viulu against the cage.

Richards is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Viulu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Richards in particular looking to stall.

Richards is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Viulu sees it coming and defends easily.

Richards seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Richards connects with a nice short shot to Viulu's temple.

Richards is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Viulu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Richards shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Viulu's guard.

Richards tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Let's hope that Richards has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Viulu seems to have got his legs back now.
Richards can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Viulu is looking to escape.
