Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yamaguchi Falcão (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhiury Ajniafh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Falcão is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ajniafh.

Ajniafh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ajniafh has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Falcão finds it's way round the side to connect with Ajniafh's head.

Falcão knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ajniafh on the ground.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Yamaguchi Falcão wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Falcão lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Falcão drops Ajniafh with a right and a left! Falcão comes rushing in but Ajniafh regains his composure and manages to keep Falcão in guard.

After winning the bout, Yamaguchi Falcão thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
