Gates comes into the arena with 9 Piece blaring out of the sound system. Pigeon has chosen Hank Williams Jr. - Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pigeon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harry Pigeon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pigeon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gates fails with a takedown attempt.
Pigeon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pigeon wants it to stay on the feet.
Gates throws a wild body kick that Pigeon sees coming a mile off.
Gates fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pigeon manages to avoid it.

Pigeon lands a left and a right that send Gates crashing to the mat, dazed. Pigeon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Chester Gates has been cut.

Pigeon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gates goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Pigeon walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gates drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pigeon swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gates's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
