Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by The Game-360 Bars. The crowd seem to be enjoying Logan's choice of entrance music: Devildriver - Devils Son. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Harrison Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, James Logan!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a leg kick that misses.
Logan moves forwards but Barnes connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Logan takes a swing at Barnes's ribcage but misses.
Barnes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Logan.
Barnes misses with a body shot.
Logan missing with a left hand there. Barnes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Barnes looks to throw the jab but Logan is out of range.
The fighters circling - Barnes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Barnes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Logan to the ground. Barnes is now in Logan's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Logan has his foot on Barnes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barnes works his way back into a safe position though.
Logan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Barnes is now in half guard.
Logan is trying to get back to full guard.
Barnes moves into full mount! Logan won't be happy about that!

Barnes avoids the attempt from Logan to control.
Logan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Logan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Logan is trying to reverse the position but instead Barnes has taken his back - oops!
Barnes controlling well, preventing Logan from escaping the position.

Barnes looking for the choke from the back.
Logan rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Logan trying to hold on to Barnes's head to control him but Barnes postures up.
Barnes landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Barnes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Logan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Logan.
Barnes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Barnes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Logan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Barnes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Logan pulls down on the head and he's put Barnes to sleep! This one is all over!
