Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ms Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Rooney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ms Jobber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne Rooney!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rooney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jobber tries to avoid it but Rooney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jobber to the ground. Jobber escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rooney looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rooney is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rooney wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A head kick from Rooney lands but Jobber takes it in his stride.
Jobber throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Rooney counters with a left to the body.
Jobber closes the distance but Rooney moves to the side
and Rooney counters with a three punch combo that has Jobber backing up. Jobber nods at Rooney to acknowledge the strikes.
Rooney misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jobber drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jobber controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jobber trying to control the position from guard on top but Rooney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jobber wants to control from the top but Rooney keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ms Jobber.
A combination from Jobber does no damage.
Rooney scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jobber tries to clinch but Rooney moves out of range.
Rooney slaps away a takedown attempt from Jobber, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jobber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rooney swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jobber has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Ms Jobber has been cut.
Jobber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rooney's waist but Rooney gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jobber off to one side.

and Rooney counters with a crisp one two that drops Jobber! Rooney thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jobber to his feet! Jobber is in big trouble!
Oh Jobber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rooney stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Jobber has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Rooney manages to get his head free but now Jobber has transitioned to an armbar! Rooney grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Jobber! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
