Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deidara Zetsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky Syn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zetsu comes to the cage accompanied by Cudi The Kid. Syn has chosen Truth by Alexander as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syn blocks a jab.
A big left from Zetsu misses.
Zetsu throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Syn throws a front kick aimed at Zetsu's knee but Zetsu avoids it well.

Zetsu closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Syn to the mat! Syn manages to get full guard.

Zetsu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Syn's half guard.

Zetsu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Syn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Syn throws a series of punches but Zetsu avoids them all with ease.

Zetsu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zetsu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Syn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zetsu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Syn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zetsu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Zetsu throws a jab but it's blocked by Syn.
Zetsu lands a leg kick that knocks Syn off balance momentarily.
Zetsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Syn pinned against the cage. Syn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
