Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Ijima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ijima comes into the arena with Alphabetical #1 - Karera Musication blaring out of the sound system. Lee has chosen Big Man With A Big Gun-Nine Inch Nails as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ijima fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ijima shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Ijima keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target.
Lee stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ichi Ijima. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ijima is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lee tries to improve his position but Ijima has taken his back! Ijima has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Lee tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ijima pushes Lee away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ichi Ijima tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
