Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scotty McBiggy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBiggy throws a right and a left that both miss.
McBiggy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McBiggy throws a nice looking combination but Hurt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McBiggy throws a right and a left that Hurt avoids nicely.

McBiggy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hurt quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McBiggy decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Hurt has managed to clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horrible takedown by Hurt or perhaps it was just good defense by McBiggy which made him look bad.

McBiggy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

McBiggy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hurts head.
Hurt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McBiggy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hurt has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but McBiggy regains guard immediately.
Hurt wants to control from the top but McBiggy keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Randy Hurt was stalling too much, according to the referee.
McBiggy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

McBiggy postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hurt to stand up.

Hurt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McBiggy to score with a decent uppercut.

Hurt is looking to clinch but McBiggy is avoiding it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hurt using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McBiggy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

No joy there for Hurt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hurt dodges the punch combination from McBiggy.
McBiggy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hurt pinned against the cage. Hurt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hurt fails in his attempt to clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from McBiggy enables Hurt to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McBiggy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hurt tries for a takedown but McBiggy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hurt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hurt dives in and grabs McBiggy's left leg, looking for a takedown. McBiggy pushes down on Hurt's head and hops out.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McBiggy plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hurt to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hurt just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
