Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rutger Crax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helge Fossmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fossmo's choice of entrance music: Helge Fossmo predikar. Helge Fossmo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fossmo gets the takedown into side control.
Fossmo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crax keeps working.

Crax manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

and Crax counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Fossmo leaves Crax with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fossmo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Crax has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fossmo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fossmo looking to sit in guard and control but Crax gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fossmo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Helge Fossmo dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

It looks like Rutger Crax has been cut.
Crax in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Crax sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Oh Crax is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fossmo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fossmo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Crax scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Fossmo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Fossmo stands and salutes the crowd.

Helge Fossmo is the new heavyweight champion!
Helge Fossmo decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
