Callaghan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

James is in a horrible position here. Callaghan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James wants to control but Callaghan is having none of it.

Callaghan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Callaghan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Callaghan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

James does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rick James is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Callaghan throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily.

Rick James decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
