Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Suraski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Silas Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Suraski!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Storm misses.
Storm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Suraski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Suraski swats away the attempt to clinch by Storm.
Suraski closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Silas Storm has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Suraski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Storm avoids a punch combination nicely.
Storm stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Storm walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Storm doesn't manage to clinch there - Suraski circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Storm. Suraski does a little dance to reset his feet.
Suraski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Storm bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Suraski's head backwards.
Suraski scores with a nice strike.
Storm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Suraski but Suraski pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Suraski throws a left that rocks Storm and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Suraski dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Storm regain composure!

The referee asks Suraski politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Suraski prefers to stall for the moment though.

That's time! Storm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Storm changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Suraski tries to avoid it but Storm manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Suraski to the ground. Suraski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Storm drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Suraski dodges the ground and pound from Storm.
Storm is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Suraski's shoulder. That is not cool.
Suraski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Storm wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Storm working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Silas Storm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Storm's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Storm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Suraski's waist but Suraski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Storm off to one side.
Suraski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Storm lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Suraski has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Suraski and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
