PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Diggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Whales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggins comes to the cage accompanied by Bonfire. Patrick Whales told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggins throws a head kick but Whales moves out of range.
Diggins throws a leg kick which misses Whales's front leg but catches the back leg as Whales tries to avoid it.
Whales throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diggins throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Whales.
Whales thows a body shot but no joy.
Whales misses with an uppercut.
Diggins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Whales.
Diggins lands with a kick to the temple. Whales shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Whales shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Whales stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diggins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Whales has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
