The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contreras avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Contreras postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Contreras is in close to Salsep's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Salsep wants to get back to his feet but Contreras is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Contreras loads up on a big left hand. Salsep felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Contreras looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Salsep can't hide his disappointment, as Contreras celebrates the victory.
