The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konopacki clobbers Stark with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Stark gets tackled into the cage by Konopacki. Konopacki maintains the clinch.

and Konopacki counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Pawel Konopacki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Konopacki throws the left hand but Stark avoids the punch easily.

Stark's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Konopacki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stark scrambles back to his feet.
Konopacki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stark has his takedown stuffed
and Konopacki counters with an inside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Konopacki cracks Stark with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pawel Konopacki seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Stark takes one to the side of the head.
Stark has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Konopacki finds it's way round the side to connect with Stark's head.
