Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Cronkite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Moneymaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cronkite comes to the cage accompanied by Croc song!. Casey Moneymaker will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cronkite looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Moneymaker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cronkite is controlling him.
Cronkite throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cronkite slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Cronkite has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Moneymaker!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cronkite lands a nice shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cronkite cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cronkite has control of Moneymaker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Moneymaker regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Cronkite is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Moneymaker is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Moneymaker flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cronkite anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Moneymaker and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cronkite slips an arm under Moneymaker chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cronkite has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cronkite is squeezing on Moneymaker like an anaconda would it's prey. Moneymaker fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Melvin Cronkite!
Melvin Cronkite spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
