Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Offin Public (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Longbird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Public comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes the Sun. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Offin Public!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hammer Longbird!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longbird with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Public throws a hook but Longbird blocks it.
Public is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Longbird.
Public misses with a hook. Longbird ducked under it nicely.
Offin Public seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Longbird lands a big head kick that sends Public tumbling to the mat! Longbird takes a step backwards and waves Public back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Offin Public has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Public throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Public misses with a hook
and Longbird finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Longbird lands a nice leg kick that just misses Public's sensitive parts.
Public gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Longbird throws a leg kick which misses Public's front leg but catches the back leg as Public tries to avoid it.
Public on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Public is breathing heavily.
Public on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Public is rocked!
Public takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Oh Public is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Public walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Public limp body while Longbird jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hammer Longbird!
Hammer Longbird decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
