The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman scoring well with a low kick there.
Patrick Bateman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Bateman tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bateman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bateman has Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
Bateman lands an elbow just above Lee 's eye.
Bateman gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Bateman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lee is defended easily by Bateman.
Nice straight punches there by Bateman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bateman.
Bateman scores with a one two! Lee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee shoots for a double leg takedown but Bateman sprawls well. He's pushed Lee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Patrick Bateman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lex Lee.
A punch lands to the side of Lee 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Bateman shows good takedown defense.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Bateman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bateman shoots for a takedown but Lee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bateman lands with a slapping head kick.

Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bateman swivels and escapes.
Bateman fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bateman was covering up waiting for the punch and Lee finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee wants to pass the guard but Bateman is keeping the position.

Lee is standing up over Bateman. Bateman looks to escape but Lee dives into side control.
Lee throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Bateman parries the strikes from Lee easily there. Lee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bateman to escape.

Lee stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bateman as he jumps to the side.

Bateman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bateman tries to advance to mount but can't.
Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Lee can't do much from the bottom here.
Bateman works to advance to full mount. Lee defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Lee is looking to get to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee tries to hold on but Bateman postures up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lee is squirming around, avoiding Bateman's attempts to control the action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bateman is looking to clinch.
Bateman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.
Bateman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Bateman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bateman tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.

Bateman gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Bateman digs a right hand underneath Lee's ribcage. Lee let out a lung full of air as it connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee throws a punch but it's blocked by Bateman.
Bateman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Bateman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lees head.
Lee is breathing heavily.

Bateman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Lee is rocked!
Bateman dips a shoulder and cracks Lee with a mighty uppercut! Lee falls back against the cage and Bateman unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lee is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Bateman screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
