Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toby Diaby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Laudrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaby comes to the cage accompanied by Trying'da hold me down. Laudrup has chosen U2- Zoo Station as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaby throws a left and a right that both miss
and Laudrup counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Diaby shoots for a takedown but Laudrup saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Laudrup misses the jab.
Diaby takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Diaby checks a leg kick nicely.
Laudrup misses with a jab to the body
and Laudrup takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Laudrup fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Diaby.

Hans Laudrup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Laudrup shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Laudrup was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Laudrup lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Diaby backs up against the cage.
Laudrup uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Diaby.

Laudrup slips a straight right by Diaby.

Diaby throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diaby accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Donk. Laudrup catches Diaby right on the button with a cross.
Laudrup connects with a right hand. Diaby shakes it off.
Laudrup lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Laudrup ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diaby moves away.
Laudrup swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Diaby counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Diaby. Laudrup does a little dance to reset his feet.
Laudrup defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diaby.
Laudrup lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Laudrup throws a jab when Diaby was well out of range.
Laudrup lands with an uppercut that bounces Diaby off the cage and back into range.
Laudrup throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Diaby tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Laudrup is in Diaby's guard.
Diaby is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Laudrup has his hands clasped together but Diaby extends an breaks Laudrup's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Diaby.
