Watson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lil Wayne feat. Drake and Jadakiss - It's Good. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meighen misses with a right hand
and Watson counters with a body kick that stops Meighen in his tracks momentarily.
Meighen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Thomas Watson has been cut.
Watson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Meighen was well out of range. Poor timing from Watson.
Watson drops his hands momentarily and Meighen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Meighen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Watson.
Watson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Meighen takes a step back to recover.
Watson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Meighen.
Watson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Meighen in his tracks.

Meighen misses with a hook. Watson ducked under it nicely.
Watson cracks Meighen with a right hand to the side of the head.

Meighen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Watson doesn't seem bothered though.
Meighen just misses with a punch to the body.
Meighen throws a lazy right hand but Watson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Meighen misses with a double jab.
Meighen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Watson thows a leg kick but Meighen checks it
and Meighen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Meighen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Watson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Watson throws the kick towards the body but Meighen avoids it.
Meighen missing with a left hand there. Watson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Meighen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Watson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Meighen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Meighen dips to his left and cracks Watson with an uppercut!
Watson ducks under a wild hook from Meighen.

Watson drops Meighen with a beautiful combination! Meighen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Watson is looking for the KO!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Watson throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Meighen is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
