Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Tebato Nakara!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Nakara prevents Walter from breaking the clinch.
Walter displaying some good clinch control by pressing Nakara up against the cage.
Walter throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nakara blocks it with crossed arms.
Walter tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nakara's elbow.
Walter is pressed up against the cage. Nakara has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Walter down to the mat. Walter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Walter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nakara paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Walter throws a head kick that Nakara semi-blocks.
Nakara lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Walter at a distance.
Nakara throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walter.
Nakara throws the left hand but Walter avoids the punch easily.

Walter has managed to clinch.
Walter pushes off an throws an elbow but Nakara leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Walter wants to get back to striking at distance but Nakara won't allow it.

Nakara tries to score a body lock takedown but Walter shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Nakara has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Walter is trying to keep an underhook but Nakara manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Nakara throws a strike but Walter avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Nakara lands a couple of elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walter wants to stand up but Nakara is controlling him.

Walter is looking to stand up but Nakara isn't so interested in that idea.

Nakara controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Nakara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Walter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nakara is controlling him.

Nakara wants to control from the top but Walter keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Walter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nakara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Steven Walter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nakara lands an overhand right.
Nakara jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Nakara keeps the fight on the outside.
Nakara circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walter takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nakara lands a jab to the nose.
Walter is looking to clinch but Nakara is avoiding it.

and Nakara counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Walter throws a series of punches but Nakara avoids them all with ease.
Nakara shoots in but no luck this time.
Steven Walter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tebato Nakara.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Walter throws a head kick but Nakara moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed right hand from Nakara misses the target.
Nakara scores with a takedown into Walter's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tebato Nakara dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nakara can't get the takedown.
Nakara turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Nakara manages to end up in side control.
Walter is pushing Nakara's head away, looking to escape. Nakara manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walter tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Nakara throwing strikes here but Walter is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Walter is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The referee warns Walter that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Walter is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Walter is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Nakara pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Nakara looking to finish Walter with some ground and pound. This is bad for Walter!
Walter is rocked!
Nakara postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Walter looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Walter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nakara landing strikes from the mount.
Nakara unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Walter wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Nakara celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
