Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Life Goes On. Genki Dama has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fabio Jones's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Dama's head but Dama sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jones lunges at Dama with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dama's hand.

Dama closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent Dama getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Dama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dama wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dama is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Dama has managed to sneak the leg through.
