The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd throws a combination. Washington tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Todd misses with a wild combination.
Todd bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Washington takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Washington with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Todd to score with a decent uppercut.
Todd throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Washington.
Washington throws a right hand that Todd ducks under and follows up with a left that Todd also avoids with ease.
Washington rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Todd moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Romeo Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Washington walks into a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Todd lands a right hook to the body.
Todd slips under a jab.
Todd takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Todd misses with a double jab.
Washington rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Todd moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Todd thuds a left hand into Washington's body.

Washington closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Todd.
Washington throws a head punch that misses.
Todd wants a takedown but no success here.
Todd is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Todd is working for takedown but Washington is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Comanche Todd. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Todd is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Washington pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Todd drops down looking for an ankle pick but Washington pulls his leg out and moves away.
Washington thows a left - swing and a miss!
Washington takes a swing at Todd's ribcage but misses.
Washington throws a right and a left that Todd avoids nicely.
Todd throws a shot to the body.
Washington tries to close the distance and clinch but Todd swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Washington swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Washington looks winded!
Washington takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Todd misses with a two punch combination.
Todd dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Washington takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Washington wants to clinch but Todd slips to the side
letting Todd counter with a right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Todd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Washington has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Todd finds it's way round the side to connect with Washington's head.
Washington has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Todd throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Washington crashing down! Washington tries to stagger back to his feet but Todd just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Washington asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
