Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Meyers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao's entrance music is Work Hard, Play Hard. A fine choice. Charlie Meyers will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Meyers!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao thows a leg kick but Meyers checks it
and Meyers counters with a big head kick but Brandao shrugs it off.
Brandao with a jab.
Brandao cracks Meyers with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Meyers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brandao is fending him off so far but Meyers persists. Nope, Brandao circles away and we're back to standing.
Meyers looks for a takedown but Brandao sprawls well.
Brandao stuffs the takedown.
Jose Brandao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Meyers.
Brandao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Meyers.
Meyers moves out of range of the body kick.
Meyers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brandao as he avoids it easily.
Brandao smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Both fighters circling a little - Brandao finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brandao cracks Meyers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Brandao misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brandao cracks Meyers with an open hand slap.
Meyers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Brandao struggling a bit here.
Meyers goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Brandao rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Meyers's guard! Nice work there by Brandao!
Brandao trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Brandao wants to control from the top but Meyers keeps moving.
Brandao is sitting in close to Meyers's body. Meyers has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Brandao is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Brandao is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Meyers.
