The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Silva tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Diggins is able to avoid easily.

Diggins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Diggins moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Silva throws out a loose jab but Diggins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diggins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Diggins checks it well.

Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diggins was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
