Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arne Kaurismaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arne Kaurismaa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sankari will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sankari moves away from the strike by Kaurismaa.
Kaurismaa throws a shot from downtown. Sankari moves away and avoids it.
Kaurismaa misses with a hook. Sankari ducked under it nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kaurismaa is trying to get back to his feet but Sankari has full control of the position and if anything, Kaurismaa has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Sankari is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kaurismaa is defending well though. Sankari let's go of the attempt for now.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kaurismaa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sankari has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sankari and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Arne Kaurismaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kaurismaa connects with a nice cross there... Sankari is looking wobbly and Kaurismaa recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sankari to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Kaurismaa jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
