Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jealous Jarvae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hashimoto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Holding Out For A Hero (Japanese Version). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jealous Jarvae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 13 - 3, fighting out of New York, Keiji Hashimoto!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvae chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hashimoto lands a nice hook to Jarvae's body. Jarvae takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jarvae throws a body kick that misses.
A head kick misses from Jarvae.
Hashimoto misses with a lunging right hand

and Jarvae counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jarvae throwing strikes but Hashimoto manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Hashimoto throws an elbow but Jarvae slips to the side and avoids it well.

Jarvae managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hashimoto.
Jarvae regains half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jarvae wants to improve his position but Hashimoto is controlling well.
Jarvae is pressing down on Hashimoto's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Hashimoto is looking to work some ground and pound but Jarvae has wrist control.

Hashimoto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Hashimoto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hashimoto postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jarvae is trying to keep Hashimoto in close.
Hashimoto lands a couple of elbows.

Jarvae has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hashimoto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hashimoto postures up in Jarvae's guard and throws a big left but Jarvae blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hashimoto postures up and lands a big shot to Jarvae's brow.

Jarvae tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hashimoto postures up in Jarvae's guard and throws a big left but Jarvae blocks it.
Jarvae keeping moving, preventing Hashimoto from controlling successfully.
Hashimoto trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jarvae has momentary wrist control but Hashimoto slips an elbow through the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hashimoto won't allow Jarvae to sweep him here.

Jarvae looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hashimoto throws a strike but Jarvae rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hashimoto is pulling down on Jarvae's head to control his posture.
Jarvae postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hashimoto is trying to control the position but Jarvae postures up.
Jarvae throws a big right hand that misses.
Jarvae throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hashimoto works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hashimoto manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Hashimoto breaks from Jarvae's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hashimoto looking to secure an arm triangle but Jarvae defends it well.
A nice elbow there by Hashimoto.
Hashimoto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jarvae is in a horrible position here. Hashimoto smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jarvae really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hashimoto swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jarvae is now in Hashimoto's guard. A big mistake from Hashimoto there, giving up the dominant position!
Hashimoto is trying to control the position but Jarvae postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keiji Hashimoto dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Hashimoto fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jarvae has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jarvae throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Keiji Hashimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jarvae delivers a nice body kick.
Jarvae staying out of range there.
Jarvae misses with a body kick.
Hashimoto misses with a hook.

Hashimoto is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jarvae's half guard.
Jarvae works his way to full guard. Good work.
Hashimoto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Hashimoto stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Jarvae has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Hashimoto manages to get his head free but now Jarvae has transitioned to an armbar! Hashimoto grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Jarvae! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jealous Jarvae!
During a confident post fight interview, Jealous Jarvae thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
