Hoehne is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Renegade. Ricardo Gonzalez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoehne closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gonzalez's guard.

Gonzalez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hoehne is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hoehne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hoehne stands and throws Gonzalez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gonzalez is trying to buck Hoehne off.
Gonzalez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hoehne wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hoehne scores with a couple of short elbows.

Hoehne is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gonzalez looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hoehne gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gonzalez is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hoehne lets go of the hold and Gonzalez can pop his arm back in it's socket.
