Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kale Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musashi Kuroda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuroda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Master of Puppets. Musashi Kuroda struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Musashi Kuroda looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kale Perez!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Musashi Kuroda!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuroda shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kuroda throws a sloppy head kick and Perez moves out of range easily.
Kuroda swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kuroda throws a low kick but it's checked well by Perez.

Perez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kuroda's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Perez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Perez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuroda swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kuroda looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Perez passes into half guard.
Perez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kuroda looks winded!

Kuroda is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Perez locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Kuroda is forced to tap!
