Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller's entrance music is Fight Song - Methods of Mayhem. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Miller!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick Rude!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller closes the distance but Rude moves to the side

and Rude counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Miller is looking for a triangle but Rude pushes his legs off easily.
Rude passes Miller's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Rude seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rude is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Miller is defending well though. Rude let's go of the attempt for now.

Rude working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Miller pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Rude turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Miller will probably get the nod.
