PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaname Tosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borin Chim will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosen throws a hook to the side of Chim's head but Chim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Chim moves out of range of the body kick from Tosen.

Tosen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Chim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Tosen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kaname Tosen.

Chim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tosen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tosen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Chim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tosen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chim throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Tosen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chim sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Tosen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chim swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A low kick from Tosen is predictable there
and Chim counters with a head kick. That will keep Tosen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
