Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Xianfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zhang Xianfa!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez lands a really nice looking cross but Xianfa seems unphased.
Xianfa defending well as Ramirez loads up on a big left hand.
Ramirez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Xianfa dodges the punch combination from Ramirez.
Ramirez misses with a jab to the body
and Xianfa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Xianfa slips a jab from Ramirez.
Xianfa moves away from the strike by Ramirez.
A jab from Xianfa does it's job there.
Ramirez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Xianfa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ramirez sizes up Xianfa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Xianfa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ramirez.
Ramirez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xianfa pinned against the cage. Xianfa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Zhang Xianfa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ramirez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ramirez is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Xianfa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ramirez had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Ramirez moves into the clinch.

Xianfa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A jab from Xianfa finds it's way through Ramirez's defenses.
Ramirez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Xianfa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Xianfa misses with a shot to the body
and Ramirez counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ramirez blocks a jab.
Xianfa throws a big shot that misses.
Ramirez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ramirez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Xianfa moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ramirez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Ramirez is rocked!
Ramirez finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Xianfa's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Ramirez falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zhang Xianfa!
Zhang Xianfa spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
