Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Dodds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emiliano Abbandando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodds throws out a leg kick but Abbandando moves out of range and Dodds only half commits.
Abbandando walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dodds checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Abbandando moves out of range of the leg kick from Dodds.
Abbandando pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Dodds fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Abbandando has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dodds lands a head kick!

It looks like Emiliano Abbandando has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abbandando with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dodds doesn't manage to clinch there - Abbandando circles away.
Abbandando connects with a solid leg kick.
Abbandando takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dodds stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Abbandando.
Dodds tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dodds darts in trying to clinch
and Abbandando finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Dodds is breathing heavily.
Dodds throws a leg kick but Abbandando sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Abbandando cracks Dodds with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Abbandando has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dodds to stand back up!

It looks like Stuart Dodds has been cut.
A chopping leg kick lands by Abbandando.
A solid leg kick lands there for Abbandando.

Abbandando connects with a leg kick. Dodds looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Abbandando dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Abbandando throws a nice outside leg kick.
Abbandando lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dodds's sensitive parts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dodds takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Abbandando chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Abbandando. Dodds shrugs it off though.
Dodds tries to clinch up.
Abbandando scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Abbandando dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dodds. That did some damage!
Abbandando walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Dodds drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Abbandando swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Dodds's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
