PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chicken Beef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Kint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roger Kint was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chicken Beef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Kint!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kint ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Roger Kint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kint looks to land a right hand but Beef moved out of range.
Beef dips to his left and cracks Kint with an uppercut!


It looks like Roger Kint has been cut.
An inside leg kick from Beef misses.
Kint fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beef manages to avoid it.

Kint shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kint was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kint seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Beef is holding on tight.

Kint goes for an armbar but Beef turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Beef.
Kint pulls Beef in to control the position.
Beef trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kint's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beef gets to his feet. Kint looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Beef tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kint manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chicken Beef is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Horrible takedown by Kint or perhaps it was just good defense by Beef which made him look bad.
Kint tries to clinch but Beef is having none of it.
Kint lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kint swings for the body but Beef moves out of range.
Beef moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kint lands with an uppercut that bounces Beef off the cage and back into range.
Beef throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Beef listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Kint throws a looping overhand right but Beef ducks down to avoid it.
An inside leg kick from Beef misses.
A swing and a miss from Beef.
Beef scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kint in his tracks.
Kint fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beef manages to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kint throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kint.
Kint has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Beef!
Kint fails to advance to Beef's back.

Kint jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Beef is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Beef and Kint has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kint tries to move into full mount but can't pass Beef's legs.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Beef is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kint's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Kint is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Beef defends it well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Beef has his hands clasped together around Kint's back. He's all about the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kint closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Beef's guard.
Beef wants to stand and escape but Kint is having none of it.
Beef can't keep his opponent in guard - Kint advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Beef is trying to get back to full guard.

Beef kicks off Kint and gets to his feet.
Beef is looking to score with low kicks.
Kint throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beef stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kint tries to clinch but Beef is having none of it.
A shot to the liver by Kint. Beautiful body shot.
Kint punishes Beef's body with a nice straight punch.
Beef tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kint is able to avoid easily.
Beef does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Beef defending well as Kint loads up on a big left hand.
Beef scores with a shot to the body.
Beef feints and then cracks Kint's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kint down.
Kint scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Beef doesn't seem bothered though.
Beef doesn't manage to clinch there - Kint circles away.
Beef pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kint tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kint ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beef moves away.
Beef cracks Kint with a good jab.
Kint is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Beef rather than just go for the knockout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kint takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kint misses with an uppercut
and Beef counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kint ducks under a wild hook from Beef.

Kint fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Beef drops his hands momentarily and Kint takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Beef scores with a jab to the head.
Kint avoids a kick to the body.

letting Beef counter with a right hand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kint crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beef - the referee stops the clock and Kint gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beef. Kint manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That kick from Beef tenderised Kint's leg. Kint is trying to keep his angry face on.

Beef forces Kint back against the cage and clinches.
Beef swings wildly with an uppercut but Kint uses good head movement to avoid it.
Beef tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Beef misses with a punch on the inside.
Kint's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kint lands a left hand that snaps the head of Beef backwards.
Kint lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Beef backwards.
Beef has a couple of punches blocked by Kint.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chicken Beef dominated that second round.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kint lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Beef throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kint lands with an overhand left.
Kint connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Beef momentarily.

and Beef counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Beef keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kint smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Kint seems to have recovered his senses.
Kint ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beef moves away.
Kint jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kint connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kint throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kint thuds a left hand into Beef's body.
Beef misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Beef scores with the left hand. Kint knows he should have avoided that one.


That has opened up Roger Kint's cut even more.
Beef tries to clinch up but Kint circles away and keeps his distance.
Kint shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beef sprawls well. Beef wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kint gets slowly back to his feet.
Beef throws a hook to the side of Kint's head but Kint sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kint throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beef walks into a stiff left hand from Kint.
Beef will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kint fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Beef, pushing him back against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chicken Beef showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Beef has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
