Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Banner throws a right and a left that both miss.
Banner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bann forces Banner back against the cage and clinches.
Banner wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bann wants to take the fight to the mat but Banner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bann is working for takedown but Banner is calmly controlling the position for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Banner tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bann is working Banner over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bann has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Banner but Banner pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Banner tries to bum rush Bann with a series of wild strikes but Bann uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Banner bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bann's head.
