Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Joe.

Stan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Stan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Stan chips away with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Joe wants to sweep here but Stan controlling him for the moment.

Joe pushes Stan off and gets back to his feet.

Joe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stan is trying to defend but Joe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Stan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Stan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Joe's face.
Stan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Joe looks a forlorn figure.
