Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edmund Dantes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kandee Dokata!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dokata under the eye.

Dantes is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dokata is defending well though. Dantes let's go of the attempt for now.

Dokata is having to fend off submission attempts from Dantes, who is looking to sink in the choke. Dantes doesn't have the hooks in though and Dokata manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dantes is on top in guard.

Dokata can't keep his opponent in guard - Dantes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Dantes is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dokata is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dokata won't allow Dantes to pass to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Dantes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dokata to the mat! Dokata manages to get full guard.

Dantes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dokata is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee asks Dantes politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dantes prefers to stall for the moment though.
Kandee Dokata has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Dantes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
