Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think St Pierre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 16 FEVER. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but St Pierre swivels and escapes.
Allen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by St Pierre.
Lance St Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen shoots in for a double leg but St Pierre sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Allen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around St Pierre's waist but St Pierre gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Allen off to one side.

Lance St Pierre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Allen shoots in looking for a takedown. St Pierre tries to sprawl out of it but Allen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. St Pierre manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters circling - St Pierre throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Allen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
St Pierre is in trouble now - Allen has advanced to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! St Pierre has his hands clasped together but Allen breaks the hold and St Pierre is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Allen !
