Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Matterson!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matterson shoots in for a takedown but Tully shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tully feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mattersons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tully connects with a body shot.
Tully gets tackled into the ropes by Matterson. Matterson maintains the clinch.
Tully looking for a takedown.
Tully wants a takedown but no success here.
Tully has picked Matterson up - he's going for a ride! Tully dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Matterson can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Matterson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tully seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Matterson is pressing down on Tully's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Tully gets to his feet. Matterson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Tully misses the jab.
Matterson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tully but Tully pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Matterson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Matterson looks winded!
Matterson won't allow Tully to get back to his feet.
Tully trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Matterson throwing strikes but missing.

Matterson is looking to work some ground and pound but Tully has wrist control.
Tully wants to stand and escape but Matterson is having none of it.
Tully keeping full guard, as Matterson tries to pass.
Tully wants to get back to his feet but Matterson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Matterson trying to control the position from guard on top but Tully is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Matterson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Matterson has his takedown stuffed
and Tully counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brynden Tully has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Matterson.
Tully scores with a punch to the head.
Tully throws a big shot that misses.
Matterson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tully is fending him off so far but Matterson persists. Nope, Tully circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice uppercut lands for Tully. That snapped Matterson's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matterson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tully cracks Matterson with a good jab.
Tully throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Matterson.
