Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timo Jutila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Rook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rook is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Shinedown-Simple Man. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jutila tries to clinch but Rook is having none of it.
Rook throws a lazy right hand but Jutila sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rook throws a head kick that misses.
Rook throws a sloppy head kick and Jutila moves out of range easily.
Rook scores with a kick to the midsection.
Jutila throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rook.
Jutila fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rook tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jutila swivels and escapes.
Rook is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jutila sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jutila decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jutila is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jutila's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Rook is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jutila is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rook doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jutila.
Jutila will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rook gets back to full guard.
Rook is trying to keep Jutila in close.

Jutila slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rook can't do much from the bottom here.
Jutila wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rook keeps working.

Jutila is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rook is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Rook is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jutila goes for an armbar but Rook turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rook.
Jutila is pulling down on Rook's head to control his posture.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jutila has his foot on Rook's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rook works his way back into a safe position though.

Jutila wants to get back to his feet but Rook is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jutila has momentary wrist control but Rook slips an elbow through the middle.
Rook makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jutila has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Jutila bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rook's guard.
Rook is pulling down on Jutila's head. It's preventing any offense from Jutila, at least for the moment.
