Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romero Jacare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meldrick Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romero Jacare could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Meldrick Tyson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Romero Jacare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Meldrick Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacare shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyson tries to sprawl out of it but Jacare keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tyson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Jacare changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Jacare manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jacare on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tyson. Tyson obviously looking to wear him down.
Jacare throws a big shot that misses.
Jacare shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tyson counters with a big head kick but Jacare shrugs it off.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Romero Jacare. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No joy there for Tyson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jacare shoots in but no luck this time.
Jacare's corner calls for a 1-2. Jacare obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tyson feints and then cracks Jacare's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jacare down.
Jacare takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tyson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Jacare tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jacare somewhat.

Jacare drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tyson dives on top into guard.

Jacare tries to buck Tyson off but Tyson is having none of it.

Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacare. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jacare is trying to control Tyson's posture but Tyson avoids it.
Jacare is looking to regain half guard here but Tyson keeps moving and retains side control.
Jacare is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jacare gets back to full guard.

Jacare looking for a sweep. Not yet Jacare, not yet.
Tyson controls from within his opponent's guard.

Jacare looking for a guillotine here but Tyson defends easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jacare bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyson's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Romero Jacare will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Horrible takedown by Jacare or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyson which made him look bad.

Jacare shoots in for a takedown but Tyson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Tyson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Tyson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jacare. That did some damage!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jacare sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Jacare walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tyson.

Jacare has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tyson.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tyson lands a big head kick that sends Jacare tumbling to the mat! Tyson takes a step backwards and waves Jacare back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jacare is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Look low, kick high! Tyson uses the oldest trick in the book to send Jacare tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Tyson is absolutely delighted - when Jacare wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
