Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abe Wagner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richard Hale!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hale misses with a two punch combination.
Hale stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hale wants it to stay on the feet.
Wagner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hale avoids it really well and circles away.
Richard Hale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wagner slips a jab and a cross from Hale.
Hale defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wagner.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abe Wagner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wagner shoots in but no luck this time.
Hale misses with a jab, cross combination.

Wagner dives in and scores a takedown into Hale's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Wagner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hale has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wagner has managed to get both his arms back between Hale's legs - danger averted.
Hale wants to get back to his feet but Wagner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hale is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hale looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Wagner showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wagner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hale trying to keep a closed guard but Wagner is proving a slippery customer.

Richard Hale has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hale throws a nice looking combination but Wagner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wagner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wagner showed some decent athleticism there.
Hale looks winded!

Wagner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Wagner looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Wagner controlling the action here.
Wagner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wagner uses his free foot to push down on Hale's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hale.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Wagner quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Wagner but it's paid off an Hale is forced to tap! Nice work by Wagner.
