The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taphorn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Chowmein tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Taphorn is in Chowmein's guard.
Taphorn tries to free his leg and advance position but Chowmein is retaining full guard.
Taphorn drops back looking for a leg! Chowmein is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chowmein manages to kick Taphorn off! Taphorn jumps back into Chowmein's guard.

Taphorn is pushing down on Chowmein's leg trying to pass to half guard. Chowmein is fighting to maintain full guard but Taphorn has managed to sneak the leg through.

Taphorn seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Chowmein is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
