Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thunder Venket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Morawski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thunder Venket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robert Morawski!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venket tries to close the distance and clinch but Morawski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Morawski throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Thunder Venket has been cut.
Venket is looking to score with low kicks.
Morawski shoots in for a double leg but Venket sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Morawski clinches up with Venket and pushes him back against the cage.
Venket missing with knees to the body.
Venket slowing the pace effectively.
Morawski working aggressively here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Morawski has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Venket after a bit of a struggle.
Venket fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Morawski tries to throw a body punch but Venket avoids it by throwing Morawski back against the cage.

Morawski manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Venket is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Morawski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Venket gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Morawski trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Venket won't allow Morawski to get back to his feet.
Venket knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morawski on the ground.
Venket slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Morawski keeping full guard, as Venket tries to pass.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Morawski is on top in guard.
Venket is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Venket is looking to stand up but Morawski isn't so interested in that idea.

Morawski stands up from Venket's guard - Morawski perhaps looking for a knockout.
Morawski misses with a few strikes there.
A solid body kick from Morawski.

Morawski closes the distance and pushes Venket back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Venket wants to break the clinch but can't.
Venket displaying some good clinch control by pressing Morawski up against the cage.

Morawski manages to pull guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Morawski is looking for a triangle but Venket pushes his legs off easily.
Morawski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Morawski controls Venket momentarily but Venket frees himself.
Morawski thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Morawski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Morawski pulls Venket in to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Morawski throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Morawski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Venket's guard.
Morawski advances to half guard.
Morawski not doing much here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Venket wants to get back to full guard but Morawski has mounted him!
Venket is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Morawski controlling from mount.

Morawski looking to secure an arm triangle but Venket defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Morawski dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Thunder Venket's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Venket swats away the attempt to clinch by Morawski.

Morawski is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Venket's half guard.
Venket is trying to maintain the position but Morawski is very close to passing his half guard.
Morawski seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Morawski is trying to control the action in half guard but Venket is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Morawski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Morawski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Morawski wants to finish this one by submission but Venket is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Morawski.
Venket wants to control but Morawski is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Morawski landing shots from mount.
Morawski sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Venket is looking to improve his position but Morawski isn't that keen on the idea.

Morawski has hold of Venket's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Venket manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Morawski sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Venket tries to improve his position but instead Morawski has taken his back!
Morawski has the hooks in. Venket is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Morawski is punishing Venket with strikes - can he finish him?!
Venket trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Venket wants to escape the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Morawski is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Venket has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Morawski has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Venket taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Morawski doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Robert Morawski!
