Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Walter White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ray Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miranda shoots and misses
and White counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Miranda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

White takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
White defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miranda.

Miranda manages to get an easy takedown there - catching White on his heels. He'll look to pass White's guard now, I'm sure.

White's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Miranda wants to control the pace but White is squirming around nicely.

White tries to lock up and control but Miranda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
White wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Miranda.
Walter White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Miranda get's back to his feet.
Miranda tries to close the distance and clinch but White swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Miranda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.
Walter White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Ray Miranda.
Miranda moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That was a close second round but I would say that Walter White will probably get the nod.

Miranda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
White is looking for a sweep.

Miranda thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

White sneaks out the side door and pushes Miranda away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Miranda turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miranda manages to end up in side control.

White is trying to control but can't.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White throws a lazy right hand but Miranda sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

White gets tackled into the cage by Miranda. Miranda maintains the clinch.
White has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Miranda is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Miranda manages to break the clinch.
Johnny Ray Miranda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Miranda shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. White is trying to defend but Miranda finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
