Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Taiki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Argun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki comes to the cage accompanied by Gangnam Style. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Argun is looking to clinch.
Argun tries a low kick but Aoki avoids it.

Aoki shoots in and bounces Argun off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Aoki trying to control the position from guard on top but Argun is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Aoki wants to stand and escape but instead Argun has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Argun stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Argun jabs Aoki to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Aoki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Argun tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aoki swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Aoki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Argun's waist but Argun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aoki off to one side.

Argun throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh Aoki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Argun makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Argun drives through and clinches with Aoki against the cage.

Argun drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aoki pulls his leg out and moves away.

Aoki swats away the attempt to clinch by Argun.
Aoki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Argun is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Argun tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aoki just stands there and leans against the cage.
Argun keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Aoki's efforts to push away.

Argun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Argun fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aoki manages to avoid it.

Aoki has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Argun after a bit of a struggle.
Argun tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Aoki goes for a takedown in the clinch but Argun prevents it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Argun pulls guard successfully.
Argun wants to get back to his feet but Aoki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Aoki slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Argun has one foot on Aoki's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Argun will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Argun dives in and grabs Aoki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aoki pushes down on Argun's head and hops out.
Argun moves in looking to clinch but Aoki pushes him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Aoki throws a sloppy head kick and Argun moves out of range easily.

Argun tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Aoki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Argun cracks Aoki with an open hand slap.
Aoki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Argun as he avoids it easily.
Argun stuffs the takedown.
Aoki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Aoki shoots in for a double leg but Argun sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Andrey Argun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Argun moves into the clinch.
Aoki has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Argun is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Argun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Argun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aoki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aoki tries for a takedown but Argun sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Aoki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Argun lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Argun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aoki paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Argun rushes Aoki and presses him up against the cage.

Argun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Argun drops Aoki with a beautiful combination! Aoki stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Argun is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Argun scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Aoki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That kick from Argun tenderised Aoki's leg. Aoki is trying to keep his angry face on.
Aoki glances at the clock... BAM! Argun nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Aoki crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Aoki is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
