PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Method Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes into the arena with Wu-Tang Clan-METHOD MAN blaring out of the sound system. Drake has chosen War is my Destiny as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake swinging wildly here.
Nice uppercut lands for Drake. That snapped Man's head back.

Drake tries to bum rush Man with a series of wild strikes but Man uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Drake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Man has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Man and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Method Man will probably get the nod.

Man loads up on a big left hand. Drake felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Man looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Drake can't hide his disappointment, as Man celebrates the victory.
