Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jihad Akbar!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narushima throws a leg kick which misses Akbar's front leg but catches the back leg as Akbar tries to avoid it.
Narushima tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Narushima scores with a head kick.
Ryo Narushima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akbar has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Narushima.
Narushima connects with a high kick.
Narushima keeps Akbar at a distance using the push kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Narushima scoring well with a low kick there.
Narushima lands a nice looking kick to the body. Akbar takes a step back to recover.
Narushima pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Narushima throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Akbar tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Narushima lands with a kick to the temple. Akbar shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Narushima throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Akbar.
Akbar takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Narushima misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A chopping leg kick lands by Narushima.
Akbar looks winded!

A head kick from Narushima lands but Akbar takes it in his stride.

Akbar takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Akbar has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Narushima.
Narushima sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Akbar to the ground! Narushima dives into full mount looking to finish!
Akbar is rocked!
Narushima get's back to his feet.
Akbar is still on wobbly legs! Can Narushima finish him?
Narushima dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Akbar. That did some damage!
Akbar seems to have recovered his senses.

Narushima throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Narushima throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Narushima circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Akbar drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Narushima follows Akbar to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryo Narushima!
In his post fight interview, Ryo Narushima started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
