Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chul Moo Pak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Santana Ft Everlast - Put Your Lights On. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Cartman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chul Moo Pak!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pak staying out of range there.
Pak throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Cartman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pak scores with a push kick.
Cartman moves out of range of the body kick.

Cartman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pak avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cartman.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pak.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cartman, as that shot connected.

and Cartman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Good leg kick by Pak there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Cartman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Pak throws a leg kick which misses Cartman's front leg but catches the back leg as Cartman tries to avoid it.
Cartman slips a jab and a cross from Pak.
Pak avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cartman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Chul Moo Pak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cartman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pak under the eye.
Cartman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pak looks for the body kick but Cartman saw that one coming.
Pak needs to keep his hands up - Cartman had a free shot at his head there.
Pak takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Cartman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cartman is looking to slow Pak down with leg kicks.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pak keeps Cartman at a distance using the push kick.
Pak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
