The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill shoots for a double leg takedown but Turpin sprawls well. He's pushed Hill's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A big right from Hill misses.
Hill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch but Turpin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hill is looking to clinch but Turpin is avoiding it.
Hill pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Turpin back to the cage. Hill follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Turpin throws a leg kick which misses Hill's front leg but catches the back leg as Hill tries to avoid it.
A slow jab from Hill misses its intended target.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but Turpin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hill closes the distance looking to clinch
and Turpin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Dennis Hill has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hill needs to keep his hands up - Turpin had a free shot at his head there.
Hill wants to stay close but Turpin steps back to make room for something. Hill seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Turpin and Hill drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
